The Impartiality Principle of ISOQA

1. Purpose and scope

1.1. The impartiality principles are developed to ensure the impartiality of All ISOQA laboratory activities and to safeguard the rights of applicants.

2. Explanation of terms

     2.1. Impartiality:The existence of objectivity. Objectivity means that a conflict of interest does not exist or has been resolved so that does not affect the follow-up activities of the laboratory.

     2.2. Laboratory:Refers to an organization that is involved in testing/calibration/sampling activities and refers to ISOQA in this document. (Hereinafter referred to as ISOQA)

     2.3. Laboratory Activities:Refers to the three activities described in 2.2.

     2.4. Applicant:Refers to the individual/organization/group that seeks the services provided by ISOQA.

     2.5. ISOQA Four No Policy:

           It is forbidden to research and develop related to customer products.

           It is forbidden to manufacture related to customer products.

           It is forbidden to carry out sales and agency work related to customer products.

           Do not disclose customer information to third parties without the customer’s consent.

3. Impartiality

     3.1. ISOQA shall perform laboratory activities impartially and be responsible for the impartiality of laboratory all activities and forbidden to get any donation.

     3.2. ISOQA should fully demonstrate that the all laboratory activities are kept the impartiality.

     3.3. In addition to ensuring impartiality in all processes involved in laboratory activities and ISOQA should continually to identify risks that affect the impartiality.

     3.4. The application could be turn down while ISOQA recognize or unable to identify the application that exiting the impartiality risk.

     3.5. It is forbidden for all member of ISOQA and its related personnel to carry out any activities that may affect impartiality, including activities that may conflict with the judgment’s independence and impartiality of its inspection activities, and in particular, in the design, manufacture, supply, assembly, purchase, own, represent, use or maintain work.

     3.6. ISOQA requires that all members who may affect the laboratory activities perform their duties objectively and don’t be affected by any commercial, financial or other pressures that impair their impartiality. All ISOQA members are required to sign the “ISOQA Four No Policy” to protect the rights of customers and the fairness of maintaining laboratory activities.

     3.7. ISOQA does not accept any financial assistance that affects the fairness of laboratory activities.
